Graphisoft’s market leading BIM (Building Information Modeling) application has topped rivals in a UK (United Kingdom) survey covering a cross-section of the architectural community. The survey reveals detailed findings about the relationship of architect to their design software tools and their service providers.
Revelation Research, a UK-based business intelligence firm, conducted the CAD user experience survey among nearly 1000 architect practitioners.
BIM and CAD in UK Architecture
The survey showed that over 60 percent of architects in the UK still use a variety of 2D CAD solutions as their primary design software. ArchiCAD, the preferred software of 22 percent of respondents, emerged as the clear market leading BIM solution in the UK. It lead all other rivals in overall user satisfaction.
