The Chaos Group has announced that V-Ray 2.0 for SketchUp Service Pack 1 is now available. We’ve added some new features, streamlined some current ones and now V-Ray supports SketchUp 2014, the latest version recently released.

In addition to the typical bug fixes and minor tweaks the other new features beyond SketchUp 2014 support include a Batch Render Tool, which allows the user to render all scene tabs in a SketchUp file with the click of a button. A new tutorial on the Batch Render Tool is available here.

SketchUp files are now saved alongside the .VRMesh proxy output so that component creation can be streamlined. Also, when clicking the RT button during an RT render it now automatically refreshes the scene.

There is now much faster light editing. And faster Proxy export and creation. When rendering the render toolbar icons are now disabled until the render is finished. And in general the program has been further optimized so that render times are even faster.
