EON Reality Inc. publishes EON
Studio, a program for developing interactive 3D applications
for the Web. The technology has ties to ArchiCAD, LightWave and
other key 3D formats as well as Macromedia's Flash and Director
technologies. Architecture is a specific segment of focus for EON
and hopefully we will see their promised
OS X version products soon.
Eovia, the new owners of Amapi
and Carrara are showing both products. They were also at Macworld
New York this year. Carrara Studio is now available. GDL
Technology is a new company dedicated to focusing on the ArchiCAD
GDL object format for 3D CAD objects. They are booth 2231. Hash
and its Animation Master 2001
software is in booth 1915. The app is powerful animation-focused
cross-platform software and a best of show at Siggraph 2000.
Linker Systems Inc.
is the developer of Animation
Stand, a leader in cross-platform tools for professional animators.
Animation Stand is accelerated for the G4 AltiVec instruction set.
Solid Modeling Solutions, the makers of SMLib,
a 3D kernel API set for use in CAD and 3D software products in at
Siggraph showcasing their kernel technologies.
Not to be forgotten is Zbrush by
PixoLogic Inc. they are booth 813 and are showing their innovative
2D/3D hybrid modeling/painting/texturing tool.
