Reader Q: How
do I convert GCD files to DXF
Architosh received an email from Earl Karam with the following
question:
I
have in my possession a set of floppy discs containing cad drawings
in GCD format. I would like to convert them to DXF format is that
possible? Is that possible and if so how. My computer skills are
limited so please be specific.
Looking for help
Not recognizing this file format our first place to turn was Kandu
Software and its CADmover application. However, GCD is not a
file format that CADmover can deal with (import/export/convert).
Looking at GraphicConverter
from Lemkesoft, the format GCD was not found in a list of 145 graphic
file formats as well. We are not sure what the GCD format is, though
it seems very familiar sounding.
If any reader able to help out with any information on this GCD
format can email us and
let us know what we are dealing with we would appreciate it. Thanks
in advance.
