AMD this week announced the latest availability of AMD Software: PRO Edition (formerly Radeon PRO Software for Enterprise) driver for Radeon PRO professional graphics.
AMD PRO Edition
With the latest driver update, professionals can expect to see faster rendering and video encoding, plus improved performance across a range of professional applications. The update will boost raytracing rendering, real-time rendering, 3D model interaction times, and generally reduce system response time while working in graphics-driven applications.
All of this means faster workflows, increased productivity, and improved financial results.
Let’s look at the features included in this PRO Edition update:
- Performance Increase — The latest driver contains important optimizations to improve performance with Radeon PRO workstation graphics cards and graphics-intensive applications.
- Maxon Redshift Support — Maxon Redshift has added support for the AMD Radeon PRO W6800 graphics card. Now Redshift creators have more GPU options available to deliver production-quality renders in less time. Redshift’s Progressive rendering utilizes all 32GB of the Radeon PRO W6800 to help improve the frame buffer and allow real-time model manipulation.
The added support by Maxon Redshift for the AMD Radeon PRO W6800 graphics card means users can deploy this excellent GPU to tackle Redshift rendering workflows.
