Architosh Analysis: BPT-Pro or BluePrintTools-Pro, as it is called, is a wonderful alternative for graphics professionals looking for CAD software for technical drawings. Since these pros are often well versed in Adobe Illustrator, adding CAD functionality to Illustrator is an easier path then learning a whole new CAD program. And for the price, it is a hard path not to at least consider. It should be stated that these products compete with those from Hot Door Inc., the makers of CADtools 2.1. It is great to see some competition and options at this price range for Macintosh CAD. We receive a lot of requests for low-cost CAD options on the Mac, and it is good to have the options to point folks to.
