Architosh invitation
for Mac Firm Profiles: 'Support the Cause'
Architosh has a new story "highlighting"
an architecture firm in Austin, Texas. However, that only scratches
the surface of what we really want to do.
Publishing Firm Profiles - Being Celebrated as Leading the Way
with Technology
Architosh is announcing an open invitation
to publish a lavish firm profile on your firm. All AEC and Design
Firms are invited to participate and we will publish as many stories
as possible in the order in which we receive qualifications and
descriptions.
We are interested in celebrating the use of Macintosh technology
in AEC and Design. We want to hear aboutand so do all the
other readers on this sitethe special things you do with computer
technology in your practice. Here are the 'focus points' of Firm
Profiles:
- Feature inventive and cutting-edge use of computer technology
- Showcase your firm's technological prowess
- Bring attention to your firm's differentiating benefits
- Share concepts and ideas on the use of technology to
Architosh readers
Simple Criteria for FP Consideration
To be considered for this publication opportunity your firm must
use Macintosh technology (hardware & software) but may be completely
cross-platform. We are interested in all uses of technology regardless
of platform, as outlined in the focus points above.
We are very interested in some particular aspects of computing
in AEC and Design:
- Cost Benefits of Macintosh Deployment
- Creative Uses and Integration of Macs (With Unix,Windows
& Palm)
- 3D and Dynamic Media Use (Animation, Motion Graphics,
Video, VR)
- General Design Business Computing (Approaches in a Windows
world)
- Use of the Web (Sites, Extranets, Etc.)
-
Helping Support the Cause
By taking part in a Firm Profile
you help us help the Macintosh in CAD/3D/AEC.
This is a noble cause because the Macintosh platform has distinctive
abilities and advantages...and a tradition of creative excellence!
We want to continue that tradition.
This also helps educate others, including your Mac professional
colleagues about the tools, tricks and digital craft of your profession.
And Architosh wants you to know that we also want to craft published
material that is of benefit to your firm's marketing and public
relations needs. To that end, we will be exploring this Firm Profile
Web process together, helping to work toward mutual ends.
Contact Us
We will be contacting some of you but ask that interested firms
or individual professionals contact Architosh editor, Anthony Frausto-Robledo,
B.Arch., at afrausto@architosh.com
with any comments or suggestions and consideration about the program.
Thanks for supporting Macintosh!
