Apple Imagine: Macintosh K-12 Education

Apple currently has a very good Macintosh technology advocacy article on a district-wide implementation of Apple technology and services at Governor Mifflin School District. This K-12 education feature, part of Apple Education's Imagine Series, presents itself mostly through a series of very nicely produced iMovies.

In addition to interviews by technology educators, teachers and administrators—all providing reasons for their decisions and commentary on how it met and exceeded their expectations, the presentation has four discreet videos covering the following topics:

• A day in the life of a school district
• Me, myself and iMovie

• Building a garden in HTML

For parents with children and educators at any level this article is an excellent advocacy piece. If you are a parent it will especially make you wonder about just how good technology is being implemented at your child's school (likely not as good at Governor Mifflin) and if it should be better...better by Apple.
