Bricsnet Strengthens its Executive Management

Architosh News Report: Yoav Etiel "goes public" as Executive Vice President.

Wakefield, Massachusetts (USA), Monday, September 25, 2000 - Bricsnet [EASDAQ:BSNT] today announced that industry veteran Yoav Etiel is joining the company as its Executive Vice President of Worldwide Marketing. Etiel comes to the publicly traded Bricsnet from the privately held Bentley Systems Incorporated, where he served as Senior Vice President of Marketing. During his seven-year tenure there the company has become the worldÕs second largest Architecture/Engineering/Construction (A/E/C) software firm and second largest privately held company on the Softletter 100, as annual revenues climbed from $20M to just under $200M. He was most recently responsible for spearheading the firmÕs launch of Viecon.com, a new internet-based project collaboration offering for Engineering Construction and Operations (E/C/O). With over 17 years of E/C/O IT experience in various marketing roles, Etiel is often referred to as the industryÕs "most-connected executive".

About Yoav Etiel

Yoav Etiel joins Bricsnet from the privately-held, Exton, Pennsylvania-based Bentley Systems, Incorporated. As BentleyÕs Senior Vice President of Marketing since 1996 Etiel united the Corporate Communications and Product Marketing groups into a world-class Corporate Marketing group. Also during his tenure, he directed the expansion of the companyÕs product marketing from a single product to a comprehensive product line and led the reorganization of product marketing and product management functions into the companyÕs Engineering Product Organizations after becoming Vice President of Product Marketing in 1994. Mr. Etiel joined Bentley in 1993 as the companyÕs first Product Manager.

Prior to joining Bentley Systems Etiel was at ISICAD, Inc., a supplier of CAD software, where he served in a variety of product marketing and business development roles. He started his career in 1983 as product manager for one of the worldÕs first architectural solid modeling software products. Mr. Etiel graduated Cum Laude in 1985 from the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology with a Bachelors degree in Architecture and Town Planning.
