Architosh Analysis

Back in August of this year Tanja Dreilich had resigned from the office of the chairperson of the managing board of Nemetschek AG. It is not clear yet how that departure may have a relationship to this new announcement.

Nemetschek AG as a group of related technology companies likely could be performing better at driving synergies between the various group’s assets and by leveraging these synergistic benefits in its competition against other major companies such as Autodesk, Bentley, Trimble and other similar companies competing in the AECO market. To be fair, the company began an ambitious and well-respected interoperability initiative called Open BIM. It has also leveraged connections between a few of its BIM tools and Maxon Computer’s industry-leading rendering and animation software. There are certainly more areas where synergy can take place and more opportunities like the one Maxon made with its strategic partnership with Adobe.
