A new application for iOS for iPad is now available in Promenadd HD Player, and one that we need to add to our list of apps that must get added to our Ultimate iPad Guide: Apps for Architects.
The iOS app by DEPTH SA allows architects, engineers and 3D designers to view projects built in 360 Panorama HD with Promenadd VIZ.
Promenadd VIZ is a plugin technology for Autodesk 3ds Max (Windows only), one of the most popular architectural visualization software tools in the industry. Promenadd keeps 100 percent of the rendering quality and details of the original desktop renders while optimizing performance when viewing on the web or on an iPad.
It does this by automatically converting images into multiple resolutions that it can thus scale to bandwidths requirements for individuals reviewing the images over the Web or on their iPad with Promenadd HD for iPad. It also calculates navigation paths and points of interest as part of the immersive user experience (UX).
