New Enscape 2.9
A big new feature in this release is the new support for the latest version of Vectorworks (v.2021), a leading BIM and CAD tool for architects in Europe with a dominant market position in several German-speaking countries. While those users will appreciate the new support, for everyone else version 2.9 adds plenty of exciting new features.
Enscape 2.9 is now out and features exciting new capabilities and integrations.

A big new feature is support for video textures. This enables movie images to be applied to things like large screens on buildings or on televisions inside intimate homes and conference rooms. (see video below). Also, for a higher level of sharpness, version 2.9 adds displacement maps to Enscape’s Material Editor. Displacement maps add a sense of depth and shadow to textures for stunning realistic results.

Finally, users will find a new collection of fitness assets, including equipment and people exercising. For working offline, these assets and others can now be downloaded and stored locally, providing anytime, anywhere access.
Enscape 2.9 is available for Windows and integrates with the Windows version of Vectorworks 2021. It and its standalone executable (.exe) are available now in English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, and Portuguese.
