AATEG: Project BEAM Survey Seeks AEC Pros for Alpha-phase Study

For tech-forward users and firms, joining the AATEG gains you selective direct access to AEC technology companies and various programs.

Project BEAM is the next subject study project inside the AATEG (Architosh AEC Technology Evaluation Group) and is open to all AEC users whether they have signed up for the AATEG or not. For readers not familiar with AATEG, see our story from back in April (see: Architosh, “Open Invitation: Join Architosh AEC Technology Evaluation Group,” 27 April 2023).

Project BEAM

Project BEAM is AATEG’s next open participation group subject, and it begins with an open invitation for AEC readers to take a brief survey about the BIM industry and building cost estimation, take-off, management, and cost data. A brief 11-question survey is open now and serves as an on-ramp to the Project BEAM alpha-level participation group.

For AEC BIM professionals, Project BEAM represents a new software initiative that addresses foundational challenges in the AEC industry involving the critical issues of building costs, their estimation, management, data sources, and the role all of this plays in the design and engineering phases for AE professionals.
