Enscape for Mac SketchUp Now Shipping

While the open beta version of Enscape for Mac SketchUp had been out for several weeks, in that time, they have fully rounded out the features for a full official release of Enscape for Mac for SketchUp, the world’s most popular 3D modeler.

This official first release is now available for SketchUp 2021 and 2022. Since Enscape functions as a plugin into the SketchUp application itself, architects and designers can leverage a fully integrated real-time visualization workflow, designing in SketchUp whilst simultaneously exploring forms and spaces with high-end visualization in a separate screen for immediate impact. This helps users test formative ideas and gain feedback on the material and lighting aspects of their design more quickly than processes that require multi-step export and import workflows.

Enscape for Mac for SketchUp 2021 and 2022 is officially out.

“The release of Enscape for Mac now brings a truly integrated real-time visualization workflow to the Mac platform,” says Petr Mitev, Vice President, Visualization Group at Enscape. “Many customers have helped develop this product through our open beta program, and they are excited to now have the choice of two great platforms: Windows and Mac.”

“We are thrilled that our SketchUp users can now enjoy this popular real-time rendering software on the Mac platform,” says Hugh McEvoy, Director of Strategy and Business Development at Trimble. “Enscape’s Mac version integrates directly into SketchUp, and no syncing, importing, or exporting is required. We know our Mac users will be excited to now be able to design and visualize their models in real-time seamlessly.”

Enscape for Mac brings real-time, high-end visualization into SketchUp’s plugin architecture, eliminating import and export steps and fostering faster design workflows.
