While the open beta version of Enscape for Mac SketchUp had been out for several weeks, in that time, they have fully rounded out the features for a full official release of Enscape for Mac for SketchUp, the world’s most popular 3D modeler.

This official first release is now available for SketchUp 2021 and 2022. Since Enscape functions as a plugin into the SketchUp application itself, architects and designers can leverage a fully integrated real-time visualization workflow, designing in SketchUp whilst simultaneously exploring forms and spaces with high-end visualization in a separate screen for immediate impact. This helps users test formative ideas and gain feedback on the material and lighting aspects of their design more quickly than processes that require multi-step export and import workflows.

Now with the fuller version out, as compared to the more limited features of the open beta version, here is what Enscape on Mac can do:
- Real-time visualization — visualize your SketchUp Mac models in a real-time Enscape rendering window.
- Real-time walkthrough mode — walk, fly, and perspective modes.
- Export options — export and share design ideas and still renders, 360-degree panos, and web standalone options.
- Visual Settings — modify a range of atmosphere, image, capture, and rendering settings for the perfect look.
- Material Editor — use height maps and adjust textures to increase the level of realism.
- Synchronized views — have the Enscape window show the same view as the project window in SketchUp
- Enscape Asset Library — choose from more than 3,000 high-quality, low-poly 3D models to add to a project.
- Manage Views — create saved views to easily refer back to a project and seamlessly present it from the best angles.
- Batch Rendering — render views in batches to save time in rendering them individually.
- Panorama Tour — create a navigation mode within the Panorama Gallery to easily share designs.
- Language support — Enscape for Mac is available in English, German, Italian, Portuguese (Brazil), Spanish, French, Polish, and Dutch.
