Bricsys of Belgium has now released the native macOS version of their brand new BricsCAD V18 platform, a fully-native AutoCAD compatible (.dwg) based CAD and 3D BIM system. The new version 18 on macOS fully supports DWG format 2018 and brings power to the user in a new simplified user interface.

What’s New in BricsCAD V18 for Mac

BricsCAD V18 delivers is functionality in three levels, BricsCAD Classic, BricsCAD Pro, and BricsCAD Platinum. Platinum is required for access to the BricsCAD BIM and Sheet Metal modules, and the Pro version takes Classic beyond its 2D CAD focus to powerful 3D modeling and access to programming tools. You can see breakdowns and prices here.

The big news for BricsCAD V18 is its all-in-one focus as a general design, BIM, and mechanical CAD solution, combining a full IFC-level BIM solution with available Sheet Metal module for MCAD users.
