SkyCiv Is New Structural Engineering SaaS Software in the Cloud

Architosh recently had the opportunity to learn about a brand new structural engineering software that is completely cloud-based, meaning it runs in the browser as software as a service (SaaS). SkyCiv, by SkyCiv Engineering, is “Structural Software made easy,” says the company on its website.

What Is SkyCiv—SaaS Engineering Tools

SkyCiv software is an efficiently coded browser-based application for solving a wide range of structural engineering problems across different engineering disciplines and markets—from the AEC industry to the entertainment stage industry to the product design industries.

SkyCiv comes in different modules depending on what your needs are. Solutions include SkyCiv Beam, SkyCiv Design, SkyCiv Structural 3D, SkyCiv Section, SkyCiv Section Builder, and the SkyCiv API, which is a product for software developers to run the SkyCiv solver around their own code.

SkyCiv’s technology deploys the very latest HTML5, WebGL, and JSON technologies to deliver a responsive solution wrapped in a very attractive user-interface. There is a cleanness to this solution that is very appealing.

Architosh had an opportunity have this solution demoed to us. We will have much more to report later on but for now, do explore the company and its offering.

Pricing and Availability

SkyCiv works in your browser (modern web browsers like Chrome, Safari, etc.) and will run the same on Mac or Windows or even Linux.
