Illustrious Jury Awards Graphisoft BIMx Pro Architizer A+ Award

01 - Architizer A+ Awards is a premier global design award program. This year Graphisoft won the top award in the Technology category for BIMx Pro.

Hungary’s famed CAD/BIM developer—Graphisoft—has proudly announced that its mobile app, BIMx Pro, has won the Architizer A+ 2016 Best of Best Award in the Technology category where it was up against other noted apps in Autodesk Insight 360 and IrisVR.

Both BIMx and IrisVR have garnered industry accolades, including Architosh’s own AIA National BEST of SHOW awards. IrisVR was given a Special Mention in this year’s Architizer A+ awards.

This year’s 2016 Architizer A+ Awards were juried by industry notables in both architecture, design, technology and beyond—a melting of design visionaries and cultural thought leaders and developers.

01 – Graphisoft’s BIMx Pro got a major staring role in Apple’s 9.7 inch iPad Pro product feature film today. This week it won the Architizer A+ Award for Technology Product for 2016.

Denise Scott-Brown, Bjarke Ingels, and Tom Kundig were key architecture notables, while Tony Hsieh (CEO of Zappos), Yves Behar (Fuseproject), John Edelman (CEO of Design Within Reach), Camerson Sinclair (Architecture for Humanity), and Barry Bergdoll (MoMa) were among jury members.
