Tech Soft 3D release HOOPS Visualize 2016—new 64-bit support for Apple iOS and more

Graphics software toolkit supplier, Tech Soft 3D, of Bend, Oregon, has recently released the latest version of its HOOPS Visualize 2016 toolkit, which powers hundreds of successful CAD and 3D applications worldwide.

The latest 2016 boasts many improvements, including key mobile performance improvements in bringing 64-bit support for Apple’s iOS and Google’s Android mobile platforms. Both mobile platforms also go further with memory optimizations. All operators are also designed to support touch on iOS, Android, and Windows.

HOOPS Visualize 2016—Other Improvements

HOOPS Visualize 2016 boasts other feature improvements beyond the “all important” mobile platforms, which continue to advance in capabilities field and factory floor settings in software solutions for both the AEC and manufacturing worlds.

01 – Tech Soft 3D releases HOOPS Visualize 2016. Includes 64-bit support for Apple iOS and Android.

Performance improvements in the latest release focus on improving application responsiveness, with a particular focus on reducing the initial load speeds, increasing highlight performance, and improving fixed frame rate capabilities.

New in 2016, developers can easily integrate support for either RealDWG or Parasolid into their HOOPS Visualize-based products. Developers can leverage the full power of Parasolid, a leading 3D geometry modeling kernel from Siemens PLM that powers applications like Unigraphics (NX), Bentley’s Microstation products, and Vectorworks.

The RealDWG support includes both 2D and 3D data through RealDWG, the popular DWG toolkit from Autodesk itself, as opposed to the Open Design Alliance’s Teigha DWG toolkits.

Finally, version 2016 shows integrations with HOOPS Exchange and HOOPS Publish, enabling Visualize users to leverage the capabilities of those two products, respectively, for exchanging data loads and for 3D PDF publishing. New sample operators allow developers to do exact measurements on CAD data via HOOPS Exchange. Another new component makes it easier for developers to build UI elements for assembly and/or model trees.
