Apple isn’t the only company with a hit app store! Autodesk has announced that its Autodesk Exchange Apps store, a web-based design and engineering apps warehouse for its engineering and design professionals who use their products, has celebrated its 1 millionth app download this week.
That 1 millionth app was coolOrange threadModeler for Autodesk Inventor.
Reaching 1 Million
In the three years since the Autodesk Exchange Apps store become a community feature for Autodesk customers, 1,800 apps from third-party developers (which are available to download in 14 languages in 191 countries) have been created.
The online platform provides designers and engineers with a centralized location to access apps that advance efficiency and productivity while using Autodesk software, and makes it easy for app developers to reach Autodesk customers worldwide.

Products currently supported in the Autodesk Apps Exchange include: AutoCAD, AutoCAD Architecture, AutoCAD Civil 3D, AutoCAD ecscad, AutoCAD Electrical, AutoCAD Mechanical, AutoCAD MEP, AutoCAD Plant 3D, 3ds Max, Maya, Alias, Fusion 360, Inventor, Inventor Publisher, Navisworks, Revit, Simulation and Vault.
