BD World Architecture 100 News
Building Design, a UK-based AEC industry publication, has announced its BD WA100 2015, the most comprehensive global ranking of who’s who in international architecture. Now in its 21st year, it has become an established reference point for international research.
BD WA100 tracks and ranks the world’s largest architectural practices ranked by number of architects employed. The ranking guide also lists the Best Partners, a survey of architects’ favorite professional associates. Importantly for younger and older architects but in particular those on the move, the BD WA100 analyzes and discusses the the state of the architectural global market, which are the countries and types of practices on the rise and projections of growth in the coming years.
A print version cost £36.05 + postage. For Architosh readers in the United Kingdom a very reasonable option. There is also a PDF download version for £29.87 + VAT.

Architecture for Humanity Closes Its Door
Architizer is reporting that the end of an era has come. The international non-profit organization that changed the game for humanitarian design has reportedly closed its door for good on 1 January 2015.
Founded by Cameron Sinclair and Kate Stohr in 1999, the organization once had more than 70 permanent staff and naturally hundreds of volunteers working across the globe on public interest design. To read the full report go here.
