Scia congrats to Japanese architect Sou Fujimoto
Japanese architect Sou Fujimoto and LA-based AECOM have jointly been recognized for their 2013 Serpentine Gallery Pavilion, recognized as one of the Top Temporary Structures of 2013 by Designboom.com.
“We congratulate the teams on their forward thinking design, and their use of Building Information Modeling to realize a truly outstanding structure,” says Dr. Jean-Pierre Rammant, CEO of Nemetschek Scia.

Nomad Updated
Nemetschek Vectorworks has updated its Nomad application to version 2.5.4 for its Android platform deployment. The app works on both iOS and Android and works in conjunction with Vectorworks.
This latest version allows any file type to be viewed in your Dropbox folder. There are additional bug fixes too.
Maxon updates CINEMA 4D R15 with Service Release 2
CINEMA 4D R15 is now at its second service release and it is available. The service update is focused on bug fixes and some of those include Team Render, one of its key new features.
There is also a new student R15 release available. Students can develop a reel with one of the most widely used tools used in production of Hollywood movies, TV and web adverts. Students can learn more here.
