The new AutoCAD for Mac is coming to the folks down under. Autodesk has announced that AutoCAD for Mac is now available for purchase in Australia and New Zealand from authorized Autodesk resellers and online retailers.
This version of AutoCAD software is written natively to take full advantage of Apple’s Mac OS X platform. Autodesk is making a free 30-day trial of AutoCAD for Mac available for download and will offer free educational licenses to students and educators.

AutoCAD for Mac is also integrated with Autodesk’s new AutoCAD WS cloud-based CAD platform and enables Mac AutoCAD users to share their designs online and then access them through the web or via Apple’s iOS devices like the iPad using the free AutoCAD WS Mobile software application.
