Autodesk is always one of the largest participants at Siggraph each year and this year is no exception. The company has several events at Siggraph and on its AREA website.
“Fun with Maya” Tech Talk takes places Wednesday, August 5th, 1pm – 2:30pm CDT. It takes place in the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, Hall F. The talk is useful for all Maya users, including advanced Maya users who can learn a technique for creating reflection-based fractals using the mental ray renderer.
From Aug 4 (today) thru Aug 9, during Siggraph show hours, the company will have a Project Showcase. That takes place inside Autodesk’s booth #2201.
Additionally, in the AREA website there will be MasterClasses from Aug 3-9, 2009.
