Mac3D: Argon
- Free beta available for new killer 3D app
Ashlar Inc., has announced this week the availability of a free
beta version of Argon, its new 3D modeling tool with exceptionally
powerful features and ease-of-use.
Last summer at Macworld Expo New York Ashlar introduced an all
new product line called Designer
Elements, which leveraged the award-winning 3D CAD and modeling
technology of Ashlar's industry leading Vellum line of software.

New Products Expand Reach for Mac Users
Designer Elements includes: Graphite, an affordable midrange 3D
CAD program with a multidisciplinary range of tools; Argon, a powerful
new general purpose 3D modeler with a number of killer features;
Neon, a new highly affordable 3D program aimed squarely at the Web
world; Xenon, a powerful 3D modeler highly suitable for industrial
design and product engineering, and; Cobalt, a complete product
design and development tool suite.
Free Betas for All Designer Elements
There are either free beta versions for trial use now or in the
case of Graphite, a free two week trail demo software to download.
