MacCAD: Reader's ask for ClarisCAD post

Architosh has received another email asking us for a copy of ClarisCAD or a location where they can obtain a copy of the old-standby. Many former or existent ClarisCAD users also want to obtain manuals and other information about ClarisCAD.

This reader writes:

Looking for a copy of ClarisCAD. My master copy is missing and would like to get another copy. This is still my favorite program. That and Draw II which I can no longer use due to the fact it was on a 700 K disk and nothing I have will read that disk.

Can you find me someone who will download a fresh copy or even sell me a copy? Thanks WG.

Being that this is old software that is no longer being sold and supported, it is hard for us to find information, much less a fresh copy. However, if users would be willing to give away their software (as they are by license not able to resell it, typically) we at Architosh would be willing to post a link to sources for folks to download it. We cannot post the software on our servers, however, unless we received permission by Apple Computer, who are the rightful owners/publishers of the decade old software.

Perhaps being such old software they would let us do that. We doubt it.
