Nemetschek Group announces Louise Öfverström as new CFO

Louise Öfverström will become Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the Nemetschek Group effective 1 January 2023. She takes over the previously held role by Dr. Axel Kaufmann, who is leaving the company amicably after a three-year period to pursue a new opportunity.

Louise Öfverström will also be responsible for IT and Legal and expand synergies in addition to a core function to streamline and optimize the Group’s financial processes.

Louise Öfverström brings two decades of financial leadership experience to her new position at Nemetschek, with past roles in finance and controlling, accounting, risk management, and business transformation.

Most recently, she was CFO at Rolls-Royce Power Systems AG. Prior to that, she was at ThyssenKrupp Steel Europe AG, Clariant International Ltd., and Linde AG in leading financial roles.

Louise Öfverström takes over the CFO role at the Nemetschek Group beginning 1 January 2023.

Öfverström studied business administration at Lund University in Sweden and in Freiburg, Germany. She began her career after college as a consultant for KPMG in Munich in 1999.

The Supervisory Board of the Nemetschek Group has confidence that Öfverström is an experienced leader and can drive value at the Germany holding company, whose subsidiaries include global software leaders through AEC and Media and Entertainment.

At the same time, the Supervisory Board and Executive Board would like to thank Dr. Axel Kaufmann for his successful contribution over the last three years.
