Ultimaker has launched this Ultimaker Essentials, a brand new subscription-based software solution. The new software is aimed at helping companies overcome barriers in the adoption of additive manufacturing technologies.

Ultimaker Essentials as a paid subscription-based software solves several major IT-pain points, including the need to improve management across workflows, especially by centralizing the distribution of 3D printing software, ensuring updates and plugins are rolled out across all users at the same time, and streamlining overall printing processes across entire organizations with distributed 3D printers.
The software also includes a brand-new direct support function and a catalog of verified plugins to help effectively scale 3D printing outputs.
Ultimaker Essentials 3D Printing Enterprise Software is a new offering from Ultimaker, a world leader in 3D printing solutions.

As part of the Ultimaker Essentials package, users gain access to three eLearning courses from Ultimaker 3D Printing Academy, which also launched this week. Ultimaker’s 2019 3D Printing Sentiment Index found that 69 percent of the professionals surveyed cited knowledge as the most frequent barrier, of which, 40 percent brought up a lack of necessary skillsets to properly leverage 3D printing.

Courses in the Ultimaker 3D Printing Academy, which range from novice to expert level, will also be available separate from the Ultimaker Essentials software subscription.
