Graebert’s COVID-19 Response—Free ARES Kudo Till End of May

As the Covid-19 pandemic continues its course globally Architosh continues to report on what CAD and BIM companies are offering their customers amidst a global shut-down and shelter-in-place orders through countries worldwide.

ARES Kudo and Global Reach

ARES Kudo is Graebert’s fully SaaS-based native-(.dwg) CAD application that, along with ARES Commander and ARES Mobile, competes head-on with Autodesk’s AutoCAD. The company has made the decision to offer ARES Kudo for free to anybody till the end of May 2020.

ARES Kudo is free for anyone until end of May to help address remote work and business continuity during global pandemic.

Currently considered the only mature solution for (.dwg) file editing in the cloud, the company made the decision to make it available for all. This can help companies working with (.dwg) files across numerous industries, from manufacturing to AEC industry firms.

To address the potential increase, Graebert scaled up its Cloud infrastructure. “There will be a cost but we prepare for it,” says the Germany software company. ARES Kudo runs on an Amazon AWS infrastructure giving it global access and capacity and can scale with demand. “As an AWS Advanced Technology Partner our architecture was audited by AWS,” writes the company. Graebert was one of the very first awarded the AWS Industrial Software competency, after undergoing rigorous assessment.
