ODA Releases Architecture SDK 2019.2

Open Design Alliance (ODA), a leading provider of CAD interoperability and component technology, has announced today the release of Architecture SDK 2019.2.

Architecture SDK 2019.2

Architecture SDK (software development toolkit) is a development platform for building architectural design applications that are interoperable with Autodesk® Architecture.

“Architecture SDK provides developers with a comprehensive set of smart objects for building architectural design applications,” commented Neil Peterson, ODA President. “Interactive doors, windows, walls, and other objects can be included in any design application and saved to .dwg files that are 100% compatible with Autodesk Architecture. Standard features include wall intersections, sections, spaces, associative dimensions, schedule tables, and more.”

01 – ODA releases new SDK for developers who wish can develop architectural CAD applications that interoperate with Autodesk’s popular (.dwg) based products.

Architecture SDK is built on top of ODA’s Drawings SDK, which provides a strong foundation based on two decades of experience with .dwg. It runs on Windows, Mac, Linux, and popular mobile platforms. A free 60-day trial version is available.

The SDK and release notes are available for download at www.opendesign.com.

New Civil SDK 2019.2 Released

The ODA has also released a toolkit update called Civil SDK 2019.2, a standalone toolkit for interoperability with Autodesk® Civil 3D® files. This toolkit implements reading, writing, and visualization of pressure networks in both section and profile views. Full support for part tables and catchment areas are included in this new functionality.

Version 2019.2 also can visualize large TIN surfaces (.mms) files, as well as addresses member-supported issues.
