France’s Abvent Group has recently announced the latest version of its flagship rendering software—Artlantis 2019. The new Artlantis 2019 unifies the features of its Artlantis Render and Artlantis Studio into one powerful application.
Since its inception decades ago, Abvent’s Artlantis has been utilized by over 100,000 architects, designers, landscape and urban planning professionals, across more than 110 countries. The software is powered by its own rendering engine and the application is renowned for its ease-of-use and powerful results.
What’s New in Artlantis 2019
Besides the new unified application in Artlantis 2019, Abvent’s photorealistic rendering and animation application provide numerous new features, like a new Site Insertion tool.
An essential tool that allows the designer to include the environmental context, the new Site Insertion tool will aid architects in numerous ways. The method for calculating the insertion of 3D models within an imported fixed view has been completely redesigned for a simpler and more fluid use, executed with step-by-step space recognition settings, immediately displayed in the preview window.
Other key new features include:
- 3D Grass — Artlantis now offers new shaders to create 3D grass, enhancing the overall realism of the scene.
- Vegetation Tool — A new vegetation tool allows users to blanket a defined zone with a selection of 3D vegetation. This helps designers quickly add landscapes to larger sites with greater realism.
- Expanded Media Catalog — there are expanded choices for tree varieties, vehicles, and new characters as well.
- Optimal Automatic Exposure — A new feature eliminates under-exposed and over-exposed scenes automatically benefitting from the best possible exposure.
