A true CAD solution
Available in 14 languages, ARES Touch (previously only available directly from Graebert) is now publicly downloadable from the Google Play Store. ARES Touch offers 3 user modes (View-only – Simple – Full) – of which 2 are available for free usage.
01 – Unlike simple Android-based DWG file viewers, ARES Touch is designed to read, annotate, create and modify industry-standard DWG drawings while on-site or on-the-go.
The free features are great for file viewing and simple annotation, with a full-set of dimensioning and sharing tools. A valid ARES Commander subscription unlocks a wide range of premium features.

Picture Note: Take pictures with your mobile devices to enhance your DWG drawings, ARES Touch will reference the picture with a symbol calling the image when you tap on it.

They can use ARES Touch as their mobile CAD platform without in-depth Android experience and with access to the same complete set of desktop CAD tools
The premium features are free to try for the first 30 days. After the free trial, users will be offered the choice between activating the full product or continuing to use the app free but without the premium features.

It is part of Graebert’s unique “cross-device CAD experience”, allowing the user to seamlessly work on CAD drawings across all computer and mobile platforms. The same product key enables both ARES Commander on the desktop as well as ARES Touch on Android devices. The cost for ARES Touch’s premium features is included as part of the annual subscription of ARES Commander. Desktop and iOS News
Graebert also announced the release today of Service Pack 2 for ARES Commander on Windows, Mac and Linux. Bug fixes and two bonus features—CONVERTPOLYLINE and COPYLINK—are included. As part of this service pack upgrade, users of ARES Commander 2016 can now install ARES Touch directly from the Google Play store. They will also receive free access to the premium features of ARES Touch as long as their desktop subscriptions remain active.
Lastly, an iOS version of ARES Touch for iPad® and iPhone® is under the final stages of development—further details to be announced at the Graebert Annual Meeting in October, 2016.
