Whether making decisions about which projects to accept, driving a design’s evolution or delivering an imaginative solution, architects must balance it all while ensuring creativity remains central to everything they do. Global design software developer Nemetschek Vectorworks, Inc. is therefore bringing together a group of architects in its second installment of the Business of Creativity video series to discuss “Staying Creative In Your Firm.” Prior to the premier of the video on Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. EDT, registered participants will receive an email detailing how they can view the discussion.
New Episode – Details
Architect Steve Alden, AIA, Nemetschek Vectorworks, will lead the creativity discussion with additional panelists including:
- Dylan Chappell, AIA, Dylan Chappell Architects in Santa Barbara, California
- Ali Honarkar, Division 1 Architects in Washington, District of Columbia
- Michael Timcheck, AIA, The M Group Architects & Interior Architects in Reston, Virginia
During the discussion Chappell, Honarkar and Timchek will answer questions such as “How do you keep your creative edge?”, “What do you see as the future of design?” and “What challenges have you faced?”
“Designers are faced with many limitations that can impact creativity, including budget constraints, differences in vision among staff or clients and more,” Alden said. “The Business of Creativity series provides an open platform for today’s visionaries to offer their varying perspectives on how they address such challenges and the many ways designers can channel creativity into their projects and run a profitable business.”
