Already named as one of the national champions for Hungary in the internally judged part of the competition, Graphisoft has submitted a company video online, giving an in-depth story of the award-winning business and its successes. It will now compete against all other country national champions for the public vote.

Phase One Voting

The first phase of the online voting is open from 11 November 2013 to 2 January 2014. Graphisoft has seven (7) weeks to garner as many votes as possible. ArchiCAD users and fans of Graphisoft should check out the company video mentioned above as it tells the story of how ArchiCAD started out for the Apple Lisa, how it was demonstrated at CeBIT just before the Macintosh was announced and how Steve Jobs saw the product at CeBIT that year.

01 – Julianna Gulden, Public Relations, GRAPHISOFT, narrates a video on the story of the company’s history, success and innovation, including Steve Jobs’ fateful discovery and fondness of the earliest versions of ArchiCAD at CeBIT in the mid 1980’s.

Akos Pfemeter, Vice President of Marketing, Graphisoft, said, “With just over 7 weeks for people to vote online for their favorite company, we are confident that the public will get behind us, view our video and vote for Graphisoft. The public vote means a great deal as it is our existing and potential customers and clients giving their approval to our success.”

The second public vote takes place between 14 January 2014 and 25 March 2014 and the final round will determine the overall ‘European Public Champion’, who will be announced and awarded at the Awards Gala event in May, 2014.
