Nemetschek this week released Service Pack 4 for Vectorworks 2013. The free download is recommended for all licensed users of the latest Vectorworks product release.
In addition to numerous bug fixes SP 4 addresses several BIM and IFC issues, including solving a problem where IFC export was not exporting gross spaces correctly. Additionally, there is now more support for Xeons with more cores in Hidden Line Rendering.
This service pack also addresses bugs found in the program when a plan is rotated. Previously rotated plan tangent snap failed but this has been fixed. And the Reshape Tool has been fixed so it can work in rotated plans also.
There are several improvements to the Section Viewport tool, modeling bug fixes like a problem with roofs in massing models was addressesed, and there is new DWG Gradient support. The full list of updates are listed here.
