Nemetschek Vectorworks will host BIM Camps in New York and San Francisco in November. These sessions will provide 4 AIA/CES/HSW or LA CES PDH and offer skills needed to adopt BIM workflows.

What’s in BIM Camp?
BIM Camp attendees will learn the skills they need to successfully implement BIM workflows into their practices, better understand how IFC-based standards benefit design teams, create sustainable and high-performing designs and collaborate through OpenBIM. Attendees will also receive a BIM Survival Kit, loaded with presentation materials and other resources. Focus issues will be:

- Small Green BIM
- Legal Issues in BIM
- Site Planning Workflows and BIM
- Plugging Structural Analysis and Design into the BIM Workflow
The first BIM Camp takes place on Thursday, 1 November, 2012, in New York City, from 4:00 – 8:00pm. The second session will be offered on Friday, 9 November, 2012, in San Francisco, from 10:00am – 2:00pm. Times listed are local times. Additional networking events are planned around each BIM Camp.
The cost to attend a BIM Camp is 25.USD for AIA Members, Vectorworks Service Select members and students. The fee for all others is 40.USD. Registrants can save 10 percent by signing up by 12 October 2012. . You can learn more and register here.
