Nemetschek Vectorworks, Inc., and CadFaster of Finland, have announced their joining for the creation of CadFaster | Collaborate for Vectorworks users.
Vectorworks users will have several ways to utilize CadFaster. The CadFaster executable produced by the plugin will create a self-running BIM executable that contains the BIM model plus the application for interaction. That app will run on Windows. You also have the option of creating a version that runs on the iPad. The file produced for the iPad goes up to the cloud for collaboration. It is important to emphasize that the Vectorworks CadFaster plugin application works on both Mac and Windows, while the executable it produces is only for Windows at the moment.
