ArchiCAD powered the design for a dynamic new museum in Odessa, Ukraine, which is the winner of the 2009 Fall ArchitectsJURY competition. Sivak Dmitriy, a student at the Odessa State Academy of Building and Architecture, designed the winning project in ArchiCAD.

The designer’s intention was to create a museum “using expressive, dynamic, modern forms to emphasize its role, and to create a new destination for visitors to the city.” The project was created without add-ons or plugins, which, according to Dmitriy, “shows how flexible ArchiCAD is. For the more difficult parts, I used ArchiCAD’s Mesh tool and Solid Element Operations.”
