According to reports on the web Hewlett-Packard has inked a deal with Stratasys, a 3D printing company. Stratasys makes a popular line of 3D printers called uPrint 3D which start at approximately 15,000.USD for an entry level 3D printer.
With HP now picking up Stratasys 3D printing may be poised to enter the mainstream market and drive down 3D printer prices. This will enable more architects, product designers and engineers to prototype their computer-aided design (CAD)-based creations.
