Group Logic Announces ArchiveConnect

Group Logic launches ArchiveConnect allowing organizations with Macs to take advantage of file archiving with ArchiveConnect. Several of modern Mac’s advanced usability features such as file previewing, Quick Look, Cover Flow, trigger mass recalls of archived files. These systems can put tremendous strain on both file servers and file archiving systems and make it nearly impossible to achieve the benefits offered by file archiving with Macintosh computers in an enterprise.

ArchiveConnect solves this problem with a light-weight Mac client that ensures that the Mac’s advanced usability features do not adversely affect archived files and cause unnecessary file recalls.

Benefits include up to 80 percent reduction in hardware storage costs, minimized backup time and recovery time, and increases in user productivity. You can watch a demo of this new product here. To learn more visit Group Logic online here.
