HighDesign 1.8
Ilexsoft of Perugia, Italy, today announced the release of HighDesign 1.8, a major update to its professional CAD application for architects, engineers and designers and builders. This new update features over 50 new functions or enhancements and is faster and more streamlined.
New Features
For professional users, HighDesign 1.8 Professional Editionprovides support for the AutoCAD DWG and DXF file formats from version 9 up to 2008, and offers advanced options to export the project to high-quality TIFF images. Other key features include:

Performance has also been enhanced in HighDesign 1.8 making redrawing, zooming, selecting and moving and transforming objects a quicker process. Lastly there have been interface improvements that facilitate a streamlined use of the application.
HighDesign 1.8 is a professional 2D CAD application built for Mac OS X and runs on both PowerPC and Intel-based Macs, version 10.3 and higher. It has been optimized for Leopard. The professional edition retails for 349.95USD while the standard edition runs 149.95USD. Version 1.8 is a free update to all current registered users. Multi-packs and educational licenses are also available. Localized versions include: English, French, German and Italian.
