Canvas 8 for Mac OS X
Deneba has brought to our attention their new Canvas 8 for Mac
OS X Professionals Edition. This application will be a free download
and provide the Macintosh community with a chance to experience
the award-winning features of Canvas 8 in the new Unix-based Macintosh
environment.
Public Preview Edition
From Deneba's website: "The public release of a preview beta
of Canvas 8 Professional fully optimized for Apple Computer's Mac
OS X marks a significant milestone for the product."
This new version features numerous enhancements and functionality,
including direct Flash export, an updated PDF export filter supporting
full data stream compression, direct embedding of PostScript and
TrueType fonts, hypertext links and transitions.
AppleScript automation is now a major them behind Canvas 8 Mac.
And Deneba has taken full advantage of the Mac OS X core programming
API's and is highly compliant with the Aqua interface guidelines.
