SGI's booth was quite large, with hardware offerings for both Linux and Cross-platform environments.
The Hot item of the expo was e-Books! One large area was dedicated to vendors supporting various e-Book formats, technologies and hardware.
Both HP and Adobe had huge banners hanging in the main Rotunda. The Hynes Convention Center is centrally located in the Back Bay district of Boston and is easily one of the most distinguished buildings in town. It was designed in the 80's by the award-winning architecture firm Kallman McKinnel and Wood Architects -- who are actually located across the street!
