I challenge the author and industry as a whole to always look at the industry as AECO(M)O.  Those who continue to view this as an AEC industry do so at their own peril.  

The digital currency of the 21st century is content.  The same content that is used in the 10% financial segment known as AEC lives through the full building lifecycle.  In terms of time in the full building lifecycle, AEC comprises somewhere between 20% (retail, B2C) and 1% (Institutional).]]></description>
