It is stupid beyond recognition to take that approach.

Pro Mac users are not looking for anything magical. They just want flexibility and power in a box running macOS. Plain and simple. MacBook Pros have under-powered mobile GPUs (and just one!) and they don’t have the CPU power you can get in a bigger box as well.
