For some very strange reason which neither my reseller or AutoDesk in Sydney, Australia can explain they have decided not to release AutoCAD for Mac outside of US & Europe???? In the world of globisation & electronic commerce I can't fathom what reason there would be to release computer software that works on a platform but then not getting out there to all users? I can download a 30 day trial and students can download an Educational Copy but no Commercial Copies are available and no one from AutoDesk or their supply chain can say when or if they will decide to grace our shores. How bizarre, does anyone out there have any knowledge on this matter?

I hate Autodesk. My first reason is the 1998 sweeping away of hundreds of third party developers (who made them) so they could go vertical with AutoCAD into AEC and mechanical markets. Put me out of business once. Then, after promoting AutoCAD on the Macintosh computer for over three years they decide they will grace the Apple community by charging you $4000 for software that is identical to lower cost "AutoCAD Like" software from companies such as Graebert in Germany (less than $1000), progeCAD in Italy (less than $1000) and others, they put me out of business a second time, by forcing me to transfer a domain I am actively promoting their software on, www.autocadformac.com, without so much as an offer to compensate. I say to you interested in AutoCAD for Mac... go buy a competitors product and shaft the heartless Autodesk arrogant A$$(*$%.

Ralph Grabowski has adopted an unusual marketing strategy for selling his new book on AutoCAD for Mac - insult Mac users!

What's {really} inside AutoCAD 2011 for Mac?

I certainly hope the readers of your new CAD for Mac books do not read your blog. Because they will surely be wondering why they wasted the money on a book from a person who cannot accept new technology.
- SeanDotson

Ralph often (if not always) confuses his opinions with facts.
- Phil

Your rant reads like someone who resists change in general.
- okin15

{ This is the book the Mac fanbois
don't want you to read. }

Wonder if it will work?
