AEC Marketing Software: MarketEdge
"MarketEdge is a whole new way of thinking about marketing professional services." That's a quote from MarketEdge Systems Inc., the makers of this marketing software geared toward service professionals like AEC professionals. A quote on their web site includes positive comments (the quote above) from Anthony Rimore VP of Arquitectonica International, the New York and Miami star architecture firm. MarketEdge is a cross-platform solution because it is built on top of the FileMaker Pro database engine. The program provides contact management, project lead tracking, marketing management and proposal generation capabilities, including SF 255, SF 254 and private sector marketing materials. The web site has screen shots of various sections of the application and you can request a demo as well. MarketEdge was developed by a marketing professional in the design and construction industry and another 15 years in sales and marketing training. Although there are other similar packages out there for marketing in AEC, this is one that is unusually cross-platform, giving it a hardware independence advantage and making it one of the only choices available for the Macintosh.
