Extensis announces Portfolio 5.0
Extensis has announced the upgrade to their Portfolio product -- Portfolio 5.0. Extensis Portfolio 5.0 helps photographers, archivist in media firms and other creative professionals save both time and money by allowing them to efficiently manage their digital content. Using Portfolio 5.0, users can quickly catalog, share, repurpose and distribute creative assets such as photographs, logos, illustrations, Web pages and multimedia files with a minimum amount of effort. The product will be available in April 2000 and includes the following product lines: Portfolio 5.0, Portfolio Server 5.0 , PortWeb and Portfolio SQL Connect. There is also Portfolio Browser, a read-only version of Portfolio for royalty-free distribution.
