Power On Software releases new ACTION Files 1.5, et al.!
Power On Software announced yesterday an upgrade to its ACTION Files utility program to version 1.5.. Stating:
"There are two things all Macintosh users do more often than anything else Ð open, and save. You open folders and open files and save documents, over and over and over again. So why not make those two operations as simple, effective and hassle-free as you can? Tens of thousands of satisfied users have already discovered the best way to open and save anything on a Mac is ACTION Files." ACTION Files 1.5 brings advanced capabilities to the Macintosh Open and Save dialog boxes, including the Navigation Services dialog windows. Version 1.5 -- which is a free upgrade for version 1.0 owners -- has seamless compatibility with every application, from System 7.5.3 to the new Mac OS 9. The program can greatly simplify the task of finding documents in Open and Save dialog boxes with its ability to sort by columns, resize windows, create keyboard shortcuts and set up automatic default locations for save and open functions for each application. Much like Adobe's ATR and Extensis' similar font control applications, ACTION WYSIWYG allows multi-column font menus and fully controllable submenus, including font reordering so you can place your favorites at the top. You can create specific application sets of fonts, control what fonts are turned on and display fonts in either WYSIWYG or regular view formats. ACTION WYSIWYG is also compatible with System 7.5.3 up to the new Mac OS 9.
