This week Nemetschek Vectorworks, Inc., a US-based subsidiary of German AEC software giant Nemetschek AG, has announced its Service Pack 3 for its Vectorworks 2014 product line.

Service Pack 3

This latest service pack fixes a hanging issue for Windows 8 users when closing Vectorworks, as well as an issue that caused Vectorworks to switch from OpenGL to Hidden Line rendering when saving. Also, multiple issues with section viewports have been fixed, as well as previous problems related to OpenGL rendering in non-unified views.

In addition, this service pack includes several improvements for IFC import and export.

The service pack is available for free to all 2014 licensees as a downloadable updater and is accessible from within the program. Go to the About Vectorworks 2014 dialog box in the Vectorworks menu (Mac) or Help menu (Windows) and click Check for Updates.
