Vectorworks News for users…

We have some news for Vectorworks users, courtesy of Planet Vectorworks and more. The first note is about the inclusion of the VBvisual plant tool with Renderworks 2010 and beyond. Nemetschek Vectorworks, Inc., has noted on Planet Vectorworks that this tool is provided free with versions of Renderworks 2010 and 2011.

VBvisual produces high-quality, photorealistic images of plants and trees in computer renderings without overloading the computer. These are low-poly count objects (even large trees are less than 10,000 polys). Vectorworks users might not be aware of this tool, its inclusion in Renderworks and more. VBvisual plant objects can be changed per season without having to change the geoemetry. The company has a vast library of products, including general textures.
